Having walked through the doors of the 15th Century restaurant from Chobham's bustling high street, you are reminded of years gone by.  Closing the door behind you, you are engulfed by the peace and tranquility and immediately transported into another age.   Part of this wonderful restaurant which dates back to the 15th Century is of timber frame, using the sturdy sea strengthened beams of decommissioned galleons and 'Men of War'.  One almost feels the stories that these beams can tell.... Many a visitor's keen eye has spotted the markings and etchings used by the shipbuilders as reference points for joints, bulwarks etc. when constructing these great ships.  The Dias Beam in the main restaurant is mentioned in the Chobham Museum as circa 1325 and is thought to have come from Chertsey Abbey.   We are always delighted to see our regular customers who have enjoyed the restaurant over the many years and we welcome new customers who we hope will enjoy the food and surroundings as much.   The main restaurant is a delight with lots of nooks and crannies where one can find the privacy necessary for a confidential business meeting, an intimate meal or perhaps even a forbidden liaison???  The furniture and soft furnishings are very musch in keeping with the ambiance of the whole place.   Apart from the main restaurant there are a further two private rooms which can be booked at no extra charge.  These rooms are ideal for that special function; be it a wedding, an 18th birthday party or an important business lunch or dinner where privacy is paramount.  You can choose from our own menu or, given the right notice, select your own menu and we will do our best to oblige.   The bar is to the right of the main door as you walk in.  There is plenty of comfortable seating available to enable customers to relax over an aperitif., whilst studying the vast wine and food menus.   The Four Seasons Restaurant to this day still remains a family business and has been run by the Marques' family since its conception 38 years ago.  It is the oldest family run restaurant in Surrey.  The Marques' family have been in the industry for over 60 years.  Their experience to run a top quality restaurant has been passed down through the generations.
